FOR PARENTS / GUARDIANS

  • Parents retain their rights and duties towards educating their children, even though they delegate duties in part to the school. The support and collaboration of parents are considered indispensable for the success of educational activities carried out by the school authority.

 

  • Parents' POSITIVE COOPERATION with the school is absolutely essential for the good upbringing of their wards. They are strongly urged to cooperate with the school authority:
  • a) By urging their wards to be regular and punctual in attendance.
  • b) By checking the School diary on a regular basis.
  • c) By seeing that their wards are diligent at their home work and lessons.
  • d) By not engaging private tutors without consulting the school authorities.
  • e) By insisting on neatness and cleanliness in their personal appearances.
  • f) By occasionally meeting the Principal and teachers to discuss about their ward's progress. Prompt response to parent call.

 

  • Periodic reports and Report Card, keep parents / guardians informed about the progress of their wards. 78. Ordinarily communication with parents/guardians is made through the School diary. On the last day of every month, the School diary should be checked by the Parents and signed with the word "CHECKED". Parents must check it daily for communications from school authority.

 

  • Parents / Guardians are not allowed to meet their wards or meet teachers during school hours without special permission from the Principal.

 

  • Though the school authority takes all possible care of the students while in school, the school can't and will not be held responsible for any self inflicted or accidental mishap, whether physical or otherwise. After school hours, students are not allowed to remain around the school without special permission. It is the parents' responsibility to ensure their wards go back home, engage themselves in studies and constructive activities. The school takes no responsibility for students after school hours.

 

  • Parents must accept full responsibility for their ward's conduct and actions both inside and outside the school. The school strives for a constructive development of the students. The school authority and teachers work hand in hand with the parents to ensure such a positive state of affairs.

 

  • The school does not own / organize transport facility. Parents must ensure that pool car operators respect school schedule and look after passengers' physical safety, do not cause emotional and moral violation of the students.

 

  • All communications to the school should be addressed to the Principal.
