I would like to wish you dear teachers, co-teachers, parents, guardians, well-wishers, students and friends of Holy Angel School, Tehatta, Nadia, A HAPPY NEW YEAR. May the New Year 2024 bring you all, immense happiness, hope, joy, peace, success,prosperity and endless possibilities.
Holy Angel School, Tehatta, a co-educational institution ensures joyful, relevant and value-based learning experience. The Students have been given the opportunity to acquire knowledge, explore and experiment; learn the art of living and prepare for life. We also emphasise on co-curricular activities such as dramatics, drawing, singing, dancing, debate, quiz, go as you like, elocution, football, Volleyball, cricket, square ball, handball, carrom, chess, badminton, table tennissports alongsideregular studies. We take out zero period as and when we conduct such activities so that our focus on academic excellence is not deflected. We had Annual Concert on 16th December 2023 in which 500plus children participated; this presupposes that we believe in inclusiveness.
We, at Holy Angel School, Tehatta,consider the parents and students essential stakeholders. We work in tandem and not at the cross- purposes. Parents are collaborators and not adversaries.We manage expectations by building trust with the parents and guardians. We take their feedback positively as a guiding lamp post.
In a radically changed context, teachers are no longer the sole repositories of knowledge and wisdom; as learners too have become increasingly independent. Information is equally accessible to teachers as well as students.
The Strength of the school at present is 530 and counting. We firmly believe that our successdepends on the capacity to join networks to share knowledge, address problem and pool resources. Creative imagination is at the very heart of all progress. For this, we organise symposium, workshops, seminars,review meetings for teaching as well as co-teaching staff round the year.
We remain fully committed to strengthening the faculty to impart inclusive and effective education, empower students to speak, read and writeEnglish fluently and correctly.We also teach the children to be honest, sincere, industrious, respectful, humble, kind, creative, productive, responsible and compassionate individuals. We aim to form the base and build a reservoir of values.
I express my gratitude for your unstinted support and co-operation right through the year 2023and hope for the same in 2024 as well.
